A Watershed Work!

This is the definitive watershed work that brought Buddhism to the West and explains it in a manner that's very easy for Westerners to understand. It is a wonderful book that uses a question and answer structure like the Catholic Catechism to enlighten the reader on the Buddhist faith. It covers every aspect of Buddhism and there's much to learn from it whether you are a beginner or a master or from the East or the West. I strongly recommend this book. I got so much out of it. This book answers a lot of very important questions, including ones that I have had for some time. It's been a real blessing to me.

Absolutely jam-packed with revelations of monumental significance

This is a brilliant book written by the foremost Western expert on Buddism. This is a beautiful work that will help anyone even beginners to understand and grow on their spiritual path. It is an excellent book for people seeking truth and the enlightenment that we are all meant to achieve. Olcott has indeed found the truth and handed us the keys in this comprehensive masterpiece.
I benefitted immensely from this book, which I believe everyone should read. It's absolutely jam-packed with revelations of monumental significance. I learned so much from it. There is always something new to learn and I'm grateful whenever I find a new gem. I firmly believe I was led to this book, which is an amazing and rare find.
This is the perfect book on Buddhism for the Western mind. Olcott explains the tenets in very clear language and lays it out in a highly organized fashion that makes it very easy for a Westerner to understand. It is the ultimate FAQ on Buddhism and also an amazing bridge between East and West. It is the perfect book for Westerners interested in Buddhism, and it's most enlightening for Easterners as well. It is really a book that everyone can enjoy. It's a best of the East and West.
This is a book that I intend to recommend to all my friends, and I will have to pick up more books on Buddhism now that I've found so many vital truths in this one. I highly recommend this book if you are serious in any way about this subject. Though it was written by an expert and enlightening for those who are very knowledgeable, it's also the perfect book for beginners.

Magnificent Work

Henry Steel Olcott is renowned by his theosophical works. He gives an excellent introduction to Buddhist teachings. I like the questions and answers format. Highly recommend to any one interested in knowing more about Buddhism.

A few years ago me and my friend Nick were talking, I started telling him how I sold sandwiches at 13 and saved to buy my first car, how I started my first company at 21 and made millions, how I lost those millions and had to borrow rent money from mom, how I rose from the ashes and built an online empire afterwards and he was like:

"Vladi, you blow my mind my friend, I haven't met anybody with a life like yours, you have to write a book or I won't be friends with you any more LOL"

I was still running my offline company at that time and did not have the time to do it, but about six months ago I said: "fuck it, I'm starting the book right now, I want to tell people how to build million dollar companies no matter where they are and what situation they are in..." and there it is - "Getting Rich The New School Way" is the result. I have done a lot of stuff, have created a lot of products, have done a lot of good, have served a lot of people, but have never done anything that makes me as proud as this book.

If it doesn't blow your mind I'll meet with you and let you kick me in the butt LOL.

Oh, I almost forgot, I watched a movie recently and the guy said: "no matter how rich you become shit still happens. There are two things you can't escape – death and shit. This guy must have read the book, shit happens, but it doesn’t matter, you get up, learn your lesson and make more money.

Amazing Life Story (with many laughs and "OH MY GOD!"s along the way)

Vladi wrote a fantastic book.

It's not your "average" book - it's much more than that.

It's about a young man with a dream who fought through everything for his wellbeing - and who seems to enjoy life no matter what.

Although the "lessons" are classics, he manages to put a personal twist on them that make you explore them from a deeper point of view.

If you want to laugh out loud, feel nostalgic and appreciate "the struggle" even more - read this book. You won't regret it, definitely.

Recomendado para todo el que quiera salir de las deudas y mejorar su crédito. Eso sí, no piense que hay un método mágico para solucionar las deudas en un mes. Es un proceso que toma su tiempo, pero si siguen los consejos del libro podrán hacerlo. Y sobre todo el autor usa un lenguaje muy claro y sencillo. Sólo una observación negativa y ésta es que tiene alguna falta ortográfica al haberlo traducido, pero nada grave. Nuevamente lo recomiendo.

Para poder sobresalir en este país uno debe tener un buen historial crediticio. Este libro me abrió los ojos a lo importante que es tener un buen crédito y lo mejor de todo es que también incluye guías y ejemplos de como mejorar él credito!

This is perfect for beginners. They don't need, nor probably would understand,12 verb tenses as BASIC learners. (YA THINK?)
If one were to want a compendium of all the verb tenses and encyclopedic explanations
